[ She barks out a laugh geddit, then covers her mouth to muffle her giggling. She also glances over at Brian to make sure he wasn't disturbed, which reminds her of why she contacted Tim in the first place and makes her stomach sink a little, but whatever. This is nice. ]
but that "baby" might belong to a race that just LOOKS like human infants! you could jeopardize inter-species diplomacy with such thoughtless words!! hehehe :D aging does seem different for a lot of people here though or at least their calendars are for example, i know a few members of a species whose solar year is about twice as long as earths three of them just showed up in fact! they are immediately recognizable by their wweird TYP1NG ::::P
wow thx like I don't have enough nightmares already you know you've doomed me to weeks of dreaming about alien adult babies now, right. writhing in cribs dressed in business suits and trading space stocks getting alien baby married having alien baby kids, which look like really old humans this is a rich fiction with quality worldbuilding I'm constructing in my head rn and it's going to haunt me forever gg
also my condolences on being bros with the types-like-a-tool crew you just won the most tragic past prize how have you stayed sane
omg do you think they would have little dentures :o or would toothless.... -ness just be a feature of alien baby society?? im operating under the assumption that there is no intermediate phase between the old baby and baby adult stages i.e. these alien babies undergo metamorphosis otherwise this fictional civilization still has teenagers and is just like earth humanity which would be boring and leave these babies desperate for some kind of gimmick perhaps typing like a tool ;P
i wouldnt exactly call us bros lol only one of them talked to me on a somewhat regular basis, and that was just to yell at me (the reasons for which are convoluted and involve things like seeing into the past and future) (so) (it is a long story)
