im operating under the assumption that there is no intermediate phase between the old baby and baby adult stages
i.e. these alien babies undergo metamorphosis
otherwise this fictional civilization still has teenagers and is just like earth humanity
which would be boring and leave these babies desperate for some kind of gimmick
perhaps typing like a tool ;P

only one of them talked to me on a somewhat regular basis, and that was just to yell at me
