It's less unusual for Tim to be quiet, of course. Not that it stops him feeling like the worst shit that was ever shat for not contacting Al after Ed died. Sure, he was still completely fucked himself thanks to Jay's death - still is, honestly - but still. Not cool.
Oh well. Add it to the guilt pile. The guilt pile that, coincidentally, will probably seem way less huge and looming after the consumption of alcohol.
