idk it's just funny like a reminder you're still human I guess and also a complete dick who can't admit he's wrong c'mon you know I rip on Jay all the time it's a friendship thing you should try it sometime
and ftr leaving notes around with "your fault" written on them is NOT the friendly kind of ripping on someone it's a fine line
um too late bro you kinda just implied I'm right AND basically acknowledged that I too am a humongous dick so you're kinda ripping on me right there dude you're gonna make me cry this is friendship right here my special guy is all grown up
*He...has no idea how to respond to that. He's still figuring a lot of it is Alex's fault, and some of it was just how things were going to end up, but Tim's still at fault. He doesn't remember that part, though, so its easy to ignore it. The fact that he's supposed to be dead and his chase with Tim ended everything. Even if he remembered it he wouldn't know what to say. Can you even accept an appology like that? Ugh. This is all too much, he has entirely too much to go over and figure out, Tim is not helping at all. Maybe he should just end the conversation? He's not sure he wants to do that, though.*
Maybe if he appeals more to Brian's interests? Such as he has them. Hmm. ]
if it helps at all when we were all sick idk how much of my babbling made sense but if people are right and the people who were tripping balls were ~seeing the future~ or w/e alex wasn't lying he's defs dead back home I 100% for sure stab him in the goddamn neck so awesome
also he sets my house on fire with me still in it but that bit's probs less interesting to you right
*To the Alex dead part. That should be obvious, right? Not to the fire, though Tim doesn't seem to think he had died in that. He's pretty sure he doesn't need to specify.*
you saw fut ure ? pa st ?
*That might explain why people were acting oddly, at least the ones who were talking to people who weren't there or things that weren't happening.*
yup that or my imagination was pissing its pants over how much it wanted to conjure up really explicit visions of barfing near alex's corpse I even got to remember stuff that tall dark and skinny took from me like when it took me p sweet (that's sarcasm)
sucks you were doing your weird glitchy thing instead if you'd seen/remembered past stuff idk maybe you'd get where I'm coming from when I talk about stuff like I know a few more memories wouldn't make you BRIAN-brian again but w/e not like it matters right so
you re mem ber ed some thing he it Ⓧperator took ?
*He didn't think that would ever be possible. It just doesn't seem right. Another thing that makes this place just wrong. Also he's gonna ignore that second part because no.*
yeah bits of it anyway the time it appeared when me and jay were in the tunnel and took me? parts of the whole thing after that
can't remember it now tho not in the same way more like I'm remembering when I was remembering it? idk that makes no sense which probs means you understand it perfectly so
*He...really isn't sure what that is. Did it mean something with the same level of power as the Operator was behind this? Or was it possible the Operator was involved with all of this somehow? If it was the latter it would be so much easier for him to accept, but he's not sure. He's not really sure about much right now.*
Brian's alive. Ginger found him on the eastern side of town, less than a day's walk from the convenience store that restocks food. It looks like he's doing well--talking, even, which is a little unusual. I'm not sure if that's a good thing but it's definitely different.
Sorry if this is abrupt. I just thought you would like to know if you didn't already.
yeah I know sure certain aspects of friendship seem to be completely goddamn alien to you but letting people know you're ok after something like that is something even BRIAN can grasp so
[After what's happened to Rydia and his dread for what might happen to House, Clayton is too emotionally drained to really debate over The Tim Issue right now. He's here to deliver information about Brian. Leave everything else at the door. It's for the best.]
Sounded like it. He was still talking through his mask and in the sort of stilted way you would expect him to, but he wasn't incomprehensible. Definitely speaking words.
[An attempt was made. Keep it neutral, Epps. Don't cry.]
I'm sorry. It didn't look intentional; Ginger and Leon were headed east to investigate a house that might have sewing supplies for Ginger to use, and I guess Brian was going to the convenience store for more food. They must have ended up crossing paths at lockdown. Ginger calls me every night before bed and Brian caught her in the middle of it.
He left her and Leon this morning and they're headed back towards the clinic, not after him. I didn't tell Ginger that I knew him, and if I find out she's bugging him I'll tell her to stop.
